I don't know if they would absolutely forbid you if you tried to get on, but it's just a general precaution because if a pregnant woman slipped or otherwise injured herself she would also be putting the baby at possible risk. Anything that jars you really hard could hurt the baby or disturb the placenta which is the lifeline.
Also, when pregnant a woman's balance is a little off and she's not as coordinated. I tend to drop things a lot and be a little clumsier so it's OK to just play it a little safer.

Most theme park rides could endanger the baby and the mother due to the quick change in directions (imagine the baby slamming from side to side while you are riding bumper cars, they are in a sac & don't tumble around in there LOL, but the pressure), the change in height (dropping 3 stories at a high speed like 40 mph on a roller coaster or faster on the Tower of Terror type rides), or just simply because you could slip, hit your belly, or get very nauseas(sp?). They are being very safe so they cannot be sued, they posted a sign warning people, so it's like a enter at your own risk kinda thing. So rides can be fun, but brutal at the same time LOL I personally wouldn't risk it, but I know people who have (not recommended by me) & have been just fine. Some girl actually tried to sue a water park near me because she was 6 months pregnant & went down a slide with lots of turns & when she got out, she became very dizzy & fell losing her baby. She didn't win though, because as I said the park covered their asses & posted numerous signs all over.

Some of those rides are not actually going to hurt you or the baby, but the Theme park is just using the CYA (Cover your AZZ) method. Somes of the rides are too rough and can cause a woman to go into pre-term labor, or have a miscarriage. It really is not worth the risk. They usually have signs too that warn against people with back problems not to use them, but I have, and only had a problem with one ride at Magic Mountain in Cali.

in the 1st 3 months a miscarriage can happen last 3 months labor can start the middle 3 months would be safer but things could happen the parks don't want a law suite from a lost pregnancy so they post signs to cover their asses....honestly I've rode lame rides all 3 pregnancy and went on a water slide @ 4 months never had any problems but, a roller coaster or anything that jerks you should not be ridden.

pregnant women need to be really careful, even falling down the stairs could cause a miscarriage, so just think about what the jostling of a rollar coaster could do to a baby. its common sense.

Would you want your water to break while going upside down on a rollercoaster?

No you can't go on most rides, because you can bump your stomach or fall and hurt yourself and the baby. I think its becuase your balance is off later in pregnancy also. CONGRATS and goodluck
