no texes t i have no fears fo any animal even the most extreme i like to know that i have been to the extreme!

This is a question just to get some attention, and a waste of your points. Whatever though, I'm going to give a dignified answer and accept my two points. Domesticated rats, called 'fancy rats' by many pet stores even though that really isn't a type of rat, are clean, and do not carry diseases. They are smart animals, are nicer and cleaner than hamsters and live longer than many other popular rodent pets. I have two, and am satisfied. If you do not like them , that is fine, some people aren't cat people, some people aren't dog people, some people aren't rat people. But understand that domesticated rats aren't stupid filthy things. That's all, and I'll take my two points now.

Alot of people who dont like rats are still under the belief that they are unclean and carry disease. GET IT THROUGH YOUR MIND ITS NOT TRUE!!
Rats spend most of there time cleaning themselves and eating, little pigs,hehe. Rats carry some diseases but none that we can catch (that i think of) It was true that the black rat carried the black plague but that was in the middle agers come into the year 2006 people!!
I think people are just ignorant and i have turned people who dont like rats the other way, for all the ratty LOVERS out there i have listed some cool rat pages below.
-Dont hate people coz they dont like what we do, feel bad that they cant enjoy the fun times we can with our ratties-

Rats are superb. If i replaced into going to have a rodant my first decision could be a guinea pig yet rats could be 2d i think of, nevertheless I did have chincillas for a speedy whilst. Ferrets are outstanding pets. somewhat exciting, yet an excellent sort of artwork to shelter. We return and forth lots now and it somewhat is problematic to get human beings to shelter them whilst we are away. So now we basically have cats. they're super too.

I COMPLEATLY agree with Ms.KaNe650-i like mice.....but rats are a little scary-but i dont HATE them,i could live happily w/o one though!Its a persons taste to wich animals you do or donot like!Im sure theres one animal that dont like-would you like it if sum1 hated you just for that?Like fish-stingrays-sharks-snakes-spiders-bugs!Thats why there are opinions AND facts!BUT the biggest thing is that you should NEVER judge sum1 for the animals they like,like you should never judge sum1 cause of the color they are or the close on thier back......or MONEY they have!They all are just humans-like you and do not deserve to be judged!But in a way your are standing up for rats-like i WOULD hate a person who buys rats just to murder them! LIKE and DISLIKE are not the same thing as MURDERING!And one last opinion of mine......i do luv baby(tiny lill)rats!

Fact:you hate people who hate rats
Opinion:i dont really care for them
Fact:You should not judge poeple for what animal they like!

Why hate them? I love rats. I have 3 right now, and they are adorable. I have 1 boy, and 2 girls. They are real attention seakers. When people say that rats are dirty (cleaner than your average human!!!), carry desieses(not true!!! I don't know where you get your information, but pet rats don't!), ugly (they have the cutest little rattie face!!! lol.). They are adorable, and they are attention seakers. I think they are so cute!!!

i don't know why ppl hate rats i love them i have 2 rats ad i have always owned rats there easy to care for and easy to train and fun to play with

There is nothing wrong with a pet rat. I don't think my cat would let me have one, though.

why yes I do my rat flower thinks shes a dog though so just about any one likes her even my dad and he hates rodents.
