College is a great, but expensive though. Try to do well in high school now, and search the web for scholarships to help your finances. You'll met really great people and also have lots of things to do. If you want to save money take your Gen Ed classes at a community college, then finish up at a major university. College grads make alot more money then those who don't go. It's not as hard as some people make it out to be either. If you have a hard class form a study group or have someone whose strong in that subject help u out! Also you don't have to be a genius to get in college a 1200 and up on the SAT or 17 and up on the ACT w/ a decent High school GPA should be good enough. Unless you want Harvard? if you need info on Colleges across the country here's a site

It depends on what you want to study. I know people that attended for four years and are making 30 thousand a year. I also know of someone that studied chemical engineering that started his job right after graduation at 120 thousand a year.

Employers like hiring people with Bachelors and Masters degrees. They will pay you more money...theoretically. But it depends on other factors as well, like job experience and the company's cash flow.
