One unit of alcohol equals half a pint of beer or a glass of wine or a small spirit. It takes one hour for each unit to clear the body. If you have a good drink late into the night, you will still be over the limit at 8am..............

Alcohol doesn't just leave your system after you drink it and pee, nothing really does. Your pee can actually be about 1-3 days old. It takes at LEAST an hour for your liver to even process alcohol, and then your body does all this other stuff to it before you can piss it out and get it out of your system.

Alcohol is not routinley tested for in a UA or urinalysis, if thats wgat your asking. AS for how long, well depends on how much you drink. For every .01, you know like .07 or .10 is legally drunk? anyway, for every .01 your blood alcohol is, it takes app. 1 hour to clear your system.

alcohal is not detectable in urine... it has been processed and diluted out by the time it reaches your bladder. it is detectable through breathalyzer (the station i work at uses the Intoxilyzer 5000) and through blood. it takes a full hour from the last sip of 1 serving of alcohal drank in one hour to get out of your system. if you drink 2 servings in an hour it takes 2 hours to get out of your system. 3 servings in an hour takes 3 hours to get out of your system, and so on and so forth. keep in mind that for some people it only takes 1 serving to put them over the legal limit to drive.
