I have not seen any evidence of retaliation against people who don't like the war. As evidence I present almost every Democrat on Capitol Hill, and the likes of Cindy Sheehan. In fact the only evidence I have seen of retailiation for an opinion on the war came from Democrats against one of their own for supporting the war effort. Or haven't you been paying attention to the Joe Lieberman saga? If your bosses discriminate against for having opinions then they should be brought to task for it. Americans do love freedom, and part of that freedom is being able to disagree with things you don't like, such as people who are against the war. However, I am aware that Liberals are quick to cry freedom for everyone, until you disagree with them, then you are a racist, hate monger, brain washed, or just stupid. Gee, can't understand why anyone would have a problem with that!

No, in general, Americans who do not support the war do not face retaliation (in fact, at this point, they might be the majority).
I'm sure there's a few exceptions, especially if a person is vociferous enough and persistent enough that he becomes an obnoxious annoyance, but that would be the case if the person were selling Amway or constantly telling lame jokes.
Passing someone over for promotion because of their political views would be illegal (however, if the person's spending more time at work espousing his political views than working, it would be a different story).

What planet are you on?
I can't walk two feet without having to listen to some liberal idiot whining about the war. Then you've got the media and their onslaught of B.S.
If anything, you face retaliation if you DO support the war. Don't let some "peace" loving "progressive" hear you praise our troops. They turn into rabid animals quicker then muslims after "prayers".

Nope. The war in Iraq has gone bad. Hmmm...I don't hear anyone tapping my phone.
I think there was a time before Hurricane Katrina's lame gov't response that one had to be careful not to exercise too much freedom. Now it's open season for free speech (in a good way).
