Well, my husband and I waited and we both agree that it was well worth it. I guess some people think that it is old fashioned or silly in this day and age, but we have wonderful memories of being with each other and we never have to worry about STDs, unwanted pregnancy, and if we're making mistakes. We also have the advantage of our relationship not being based on sex, which I believe to be the downfall of many relationships.

It's not easy and there were times when I felt like chewing on the furniture legs because I was going bonkers, but overall, it's not as hard as some people might think.

Well I can't really speak from experience . . but I would say that waiting until marriage to have sex could prevent a lot of the problems that people go through. And you'll have that sacred bond with your mate that hasn't been shared with anyone else . . so that way you don't have some standard set by a previous lover to overcome.

Thats a matter of personal opinion honestly. Years ago I would have said YES but now a days I truly believe its all according to what you make of marriage and all that jazz!!! I mean lets review shall we? Years ago men AND women waited till their wedding night, some time later it was acceptable for men to sleep around but God forbid a woman do it, years passed and it started becoming more acceptable for a woman to be "experienced" and now its not only acceptable to have sex before marriage but its becoming *normal* to live together first.. So its all on what YOUR personal values are not all of us who answers. Good Luck in whatever you decide to do!!!

Yes. First of all sex before marriage is a sin. Second of all you be 100% sure you weren't going to end up pregnant or with a horrible disease.

YES!!! No lie, sex isn't going to be "good" for a woman till she is older anyways, and you don't need to risk all the crap that goes with sexual activity, emotional or physical. Plus, even if you don't get pregnant or an STD, it increases your risk for cervical cancer, as well. Too many bad for no good.

personally it all depends on the person..if a person feels that he/she is ready for sex before marriage and they "know" that the person that they're with is "the one" then they should have sex..i mean they're gonna do it anywayz and everyone can try to talk them out of it but if they fell ready then they're gonna do it...but if u know ur not ready then dont do it and if u know that ur willing to wait tell marriage then wait..dont feel obligated to do it...its all about making the choice that ur willing to live with for the rest of your life!!

I think it is. It is a special gift you give to your husband. It is a rare gift these days. It is worth it. Most men, just to let you know want to marry a virgin.
