I need to find a team that specializes in kids with attitudes

In my area the police department has a youth athletics league that works with kids that have behavioral problems. I would also look at the YMCA and the Parks and Recreation Department because they too have basketball leagues. Most coaches know how to deal with kids with attitudes. It really isn't in a coach to walk away from a kid that needs help. Kids with behavior problems sometimes find help in strangers because they haven't found a reason to be angry with the stranger. I know that some kids do not need a reason for behaving so badly, it may just be a pre-teen or a teenage thing. Sometimes playing a team sport gives them something else to focus on and gives them an out for their anger. I would also contact the local churches in your area. They should also have youth programs to work with your youth. Good Luck!
