I would say yes if your enemies TRY to wipe you off the face of the earth. Just wanting to is not clear enough.

Saying something and actually doing it are two different things.
We should always keep our powder dry; and base our military actions and retaliation on the actions of our enemies, not merely what they say. And we should put more credence in the wisdom of those who have first-hand knowledge about our enemies. In some cases they are just looking for attention; if they are, we should not give it to them by reacting to their every pronouncement.

So then everybody wipes everybody off the face of the earth eventually.......
Just because you have the right to do something, doesn't make it the right thing to do.

to stay in the right and in the good graces of the international community, things that are said like that really can't be retaliated against. they get your attention, and when radical threats like that are made by a head of state or leader, they obviously demand attention and the focus of your intelligence resources. point being, in today's international community, you have to wait until they attack, or you can sell to the world the case that an attack is imminent.

Nope. Two wrongs don't make a right. Overused statement, but it fits.
This would just cause a chain reaction, ending the whole world.

Should we not find out WHY they became our enemies? Rememer we supportet bin laden when he was fighting the soviets, remember we supported saddam hussein when he was fighting the iranians, remember we keep supporting the israelites for their inhumane acts, oppression and occupations.

That's a statement, not a question.
And yes, it would be fair, but it would still be wrong to use more force than necessary to defend yourself, even if they want to do so to you.
