its when you put a search for a word/phrase on google and only one result is found matching the word or phrase!

Googlewhacking has been around for donkey's years. Although I always heard you were supposed to use two words: as with one word I'm sure it must be impossible.

Hmm, I've just thought of a problem with googlewhacking: with so many dictionary sites around these days there must be loads of sites which have just about every word in the English language.

I know lots, but if i put them on here, they'll be on two sites on the Internet, and stop being google whacks. Conflicting desires too gloat and show off, but also to protect my whacks. Dilemma!

If you have the Yahoo toolbar, have you tried the "reference" button? You can search in a dictionary, thesaurus, encyclopedia, etc. Check it out. It's great.
