Ive answered this one to many times.

I dont think that intelegent life exists, but life does exist. I know that. Imagine this: A gas Giant. Nothing but clouds oif gas. Inside jupitur. How can life survive? They can float! Blimp-like creatures could fly and be hunted by gliding creatures called "sword tails", or perhaps an organism that has no mouth or nose for breathing, since it abosbs the ice on europa, and gets food by photosynthesis, on the moon of Europa. Or EVEN IN VENUS!!! There could be fat creacures that are resistant to the intence heat, and can last heavy pressure. They eat rocks and metal, and since the surface is boiling hot, they keep standing on one foot, alternating every once in a while. Great thinking, no?

Intelegent life doesn't exist as far as I know, but other forms of life, like the ones I listed, or single celled organisms, could.

My answer: Yes! Definatly. There are kinds of life that can adapt to nearly anything. Bacteria for instance. Its a huge, wide space, and Earth isnt the only planet with life. Definatly not. Earthlings adapted to life on this planet. If we were somewhere like Europa or Titan, we might not have to breate, or be resistant to very cold temperatures. Imagine that!

I'm not sure if there was or not. After reading an article the other day about the Mars rock they found in the 90's and said there was life there... I have come to doubt it. The study one of the Scientists brothers did actually created similar findings to the ones inside the Mars rock.

However, I do fervently believe that there is other life out there in the Universe. It is much too big for us to be the only life. There has to be life elswhere, I just hope I live to see the day we discover it, and that it isn't hostile towards humans. :)

There are traces of methane in Mars' atmosphere.

Methane is highly volatile and will decay and be lost to space within a few centuries.

Scinetists are currently debating whether this is generated by some kind of primitive subsurface lifeforms or by some aspect of volcanism that they do not understand (Mars is thought to be volcanically inactive at this point in its history)

Chances for some kind of life on mars = better than average (since most places definitely DO NOT have life)

As far as other life in the galaxy, probably lots of life, little to know inteligence.

The Mars rovers have spotted what looks like fossil remnants of former life, some quite similar to modern earth life forms (sea urchins, and hermit crab like shells).
near the south pole there are some dark shapes that resemble earth corral reefs or some form of Banyan tree. Sadly no research is being done in that area.
If NASA ever did find current life , would they admit it?

Well, astrobiologists have found fossil-like evidence that indicates the earlier presence of one-celled organisms on Mars, but it's debatable whether these organisms are still on the planet, and there is not much evidence of complex life on Mars or any other planet in our solar system. Besides this one of course.

The Vedic scriptures, including Bhagavad-gita and Srimad Bhagavatam state that there is life on all the planets in our solar system but it is not "life" as we know it by our human definitions in biology.

So I don't THINK there is life on other planets, I believe it. Most std university biology texts state that the probability is VERY high!

i don't know
but i think there r life on another planets or mars
i think i heared before that NASA found some evidences on Mars that there is a life on it
if not on Mars, may be on any another planet in any another galaxy, i know there r millions of galaxies that contain millions of planets, so i don't think that we r the only creatures in that very far space

Possibly, there is a debate that the Allan Hills Meteor (AH0004) contains fossilized evidence of martian life. But is highly debated.

I'd bet that there are some ameoba like creatures on a planet 30 trillion light years from here.

If there is one one planet every 50 billion light years with life, then there are tons! It will take us hundred's of years to be able to see or travel 50 billion light years. We just haven't found it yet, but we will!
