the person is just confused about what they fell. they can mean many other things like they want to see other ppl or they hate you right now but mainly i think things can be worked out. maybe the person just needs a lil space at least thats what i meant when i said it i needed time to notice what i actually do love about my partner

Eric, I love you because Jesus is Love and I love Jesus, so even though I have never met you I still have love for you, But to be "In Love with You," means that we have a intimate relationship and I don't mean sexual, but intimate, like a close attraction, basically like saying I can spend the rest of my life with you and only you.

It means that they want to be with you and it may last but they don't really see themselves being with for forever. Saying I love you is a way of showing some feelings for you. Being in love with you is wanting to be with you forever and being serious about you.
