1046 by 6 = 174.666
693 by 9 = 77

get the idea....which ones can be worked out and solved with a hole number...no decimal.

You can always use a calculator and try dividing the numbers. However, there are some basic rules to figure most numbers. Those rules are mind exercises (good for the mind and the ego) but are not necessarily easy to remember all. For instance: all even numbers are divisible by 2, all numbers that end in 5 or 0 are divisible by 5; all numbers ending in 0 are divisible by 10; if the sum of the digits in a number is equal to 3, 6, or 9 the number is divisible by 3: etc. Try it and research about these rules or facts about numbers.

This is the same as your other question with a couple additional rules.

If a number is even, it's divisible by 2.

If a number ends in a 0, it's divisible by 10.

If a number ends in a 0 or a 5, it's divisible by 5.

i already answered this...

take a calculator...input the first number. press the divide symbol. enter the second number. If the result comes out a whole number (not a decimal) then it is divisible.

to show an easy example....
9 is divisible by 3...because 3+3+3=9...or 3 x 3 =9.
24 is divisible by 6...because 6+6+6+6=24...or 6 x 4=24

30 is not divisible by 9...because 9 x 3=27, and 9x4=36 (9 cannot go into 30)

an easy one in your example is 305;10....no matter how many times you add up 10 you end up with a number ending in 0...so 305 is not divisible by 10 .....(10 x [any whole number] cannot equal 305)

same with 13509;5. No matter what you multiple 5 by you end up with a number ending in 5 or 0...(5,10,15,20,25...) so it cannot end in 9. 13509 is not divisible by 5.......(5 x [any whole number] cannot equal 13509)....following this rule, 860 is divisible by 5.

#1. 527/3 not divisible because 5+2+7 =14 is not divisible by3
#2. 1048/6 since 1+0+4+8 = 13 it is not divisible by 3 but
divisible by 2 because the last digit is even there not
divisible
#3. 693/9 since the sum of the digits=6+8+3= 18 it is divisible
by 9 therefore 693 is divisible by 9
#4 1974/2 it is divisible by 2 since the unit digit is even or
divisible by 2
#5 305/10 since unit place is not 0 therefore not divisible by 10
# 6 6860/5 since unit place is zero therefore divisible by 5

#7 467/2 sine the unit place is not even number so it is not
#8 2310/6 because 2+3+1+0=6 it is divisible by 3 also unit place is 0 therefore it is divisible
#9 816/3 since sum i.e 8+1+6=15 which is divisible by
3. Therefore it is divisible
#10 13509/5 because unit place is neithr 5 or 0 so it is not
divisible
