i am going through the same. I have a hormonal imbalance. My dr. prescribed medroxyprogesterone aka provera. Not a birth control but a pill that will regulate cycles some women only take it for a few months and their cycle is restored. Some never have theirs without this pill. If you do not have a monthly period this does not mean that you do not ovulate. If you do get preg. on this medicine please be aware of the side effects and if taken during early preg. I do believe that it can cause early miscarriage. You woul want to talk to you dr. to find out what is best for you. Maybe they need to run blood tests and have an HSG done. You could also go the herbal route and try Vitex Agnus-Castus found at any health food store known for supporting female hormonal imbalance.

I have a friend in the same situation, unfortunately there is nothing. You could use those tests to tell when you are ovulating but they're quite expensive. Also, if you are underweight, that can alter your periods. Just ensure you eat healthily, exercise regularly and get plenty of rest.
good luck xx
noticing the above message - I doubt very much that a chiropractor can do this, I'm medically trained and it sounds like a coincidence to me. Your internal organs won't be squashed unless you have a major back disorder!

A close friend of mine had a similar condition clear up through chiropractic care. The doctor found areas in her spine that were misaligned which put pressure on the nerves going to her reproductive organs. She was able to have 2 kids since then. It's certainly worth a try.

I was irregular and my doctor gave me a hormone called prometrium to regulate me I took it the week before my period and it helped assist with shedding the lining of my uterus so I would go to a dr and ask for blood test to see what it maybe and ask for hormone pills this way its not preventing you from conceiving because they are hormones your body already produce

Go to a doctor that specializes in infertility and see what might be wrong with you. There is obviously something going on if your cycles are irregular and you need to talk with your doctor.

If your doctor suggested birth control pills, he or she is right. Sometimes all you need to do is take them for about three months, and they'll set you right again.
