Because, while men are stupid about sex, women are stupid about love. They want a sexy, bad boy they can "fix." It takes a very mature woman to realize that the "nice" guy, while not having the appeal of a rowdy cowby, makes the far better mate in the long run.

Immaturity and/or low self esteem. Sometimes it takes a while for a woman to get to the point that she won't put up with being treated badly. Then she looks for the nice guy. A nice guy should feel proud if he doesn't fall into the trap of becoming a jerk because some silly woman rejected him.

That's the difference between a smart woman and a stupid one. Smart women have figured out a nice guy can be "bad" with the right motivation, and he'll actually be worth keeping.
If the women you are interested in keep going for bad guys...then your radar is leading you to the not-so-bright females. Look in another direction. There are good women out there who will appreciate you. And, just like I said, they can be "bad" with proper motivation :-)

Because it is more exciting, to be with a guy who breaks all the rules. Good guys are the ones that have the real love though, because they really know how to treat the ladies. Bad guys are usually to cocky they are fun to play with for a little while. however, i have choosen a good guy. sometimes he's boring, but i know we will be together many years to come. he has my best interests at heart.

Guys always show their best side when you first start dating them...they take you out to nice dinners, call you all time...then they become jerks. But they always start off as nice. I now have a boyfriend who started out nice and has continued to be great and sweet and wonderful!

This is what they are subconsciously seeking. If they weren't attracted to the characteristics that they consider "bad," then they wouldn't end up with those types of guys to begin with. Attraction is something that is impossible to control and if someone is always attracted to "bad boys," then its best to simply accept your attraction and embrace it.

Some women are socialized to rescue. They feel if they love him enough it will be worth it. It just doesn't work that way.
