You will be lucky to find five good friends in your lifetime. By that I mean that will stick with you unconditionally through thick and thin. The will not judge you and they will also sometimes let you bang your head to learn. It will be a blessing if your very best friend of all times is your spouse to be. This is rare too, but when it does happen, it means a life time of living in the garden of Eden. Also to have a friendship that will survive almost anything, then a good start is to let God be the common denominator.

True friends? That depends. As long as you can avoid a harsh arguement and be truthful and loyal, then yes it is possible. However, everyone has an oppinion and you are bound to diss-agree. Aren't oppinions a *****. The main thing is to accept people for who they are and not take stuff to seriously at times. Be willing to forgive, and trust. Damn, sound slike if you have a closefriend you should marry them. I guess the only thing is to find a soul mate you never plan on having sex with, and there is your true friend! :-)

Having good friends takes time, takes honesty and putting up with behaviour you don't necessarily like all the time but you excuse it because you know the real person your friend is.

I disagree, I have three of my friends I've known since I was in jr. high school and another since high school. And one since we were Brownies together.

It's what you want in a friend and who you choose to be your friends that count.

And the person is right saying they become a part of your family and you apart of their's, you're tied together forever.

You don't choose the most popular or the trendiest or the best looking to be your friends, because chances are they won't stay your friends. You choose your friends who speak to your heart and soul and mind.

You are so right. A true friend is very hard to find. It seems that everyone is out for themselves and they don't care who they step on to get ahead.

Just keep being a good friend and hopefully someone will do the same for you.

Definatley true.

You won't even know who your true friends are until after high school.

I have about 6 true friends I will love and keep for the rest of my life.

Real friends know everything about you and are a part of your family. My mom treats my real friends like adopted children :) They will be there through thick and thin......whether you move down the street or across the country they should stick by your side.

To find a true friend you have to be sincere yourself. Present day life is too busy. We should be contended with friends around us. Friends may come and may go. Test of friendship is when you need the help. You may not predict their behaviour. Be contended with your parents, brothers , sisters, wife and children and try to win their love.

Because very few people realize that true friendship demands compromise and self-denial. Not in possession, though, but more in support.

yes it is true that you make friends easily but making true friends is harder. because if everyone was a true friend than everyone would know you like a book and everyone would be there for you no matter what.

True friends are a dime a dozen, but once you found your true friend hang on to them, and never lose contact with them!!
