I know it's not before 1990, but it's still old. We have a 95 Dodge Caravan and it has almost 240,000 miles on it. It looks good for as old as it is. The interior is excellent. My husband loves it. We'll drive it til it dies.

I've never owned a vehicle newer than '96. I currently have a '89 BMW 750il and a '93 Mazda Miata. The Miata is fine for most of my driving as it is fun on the back roads and gets much better gas mileage than the V12 in the BMW. The BMW is for when I need to carry more than two people. I recently went on a vacation with my father and brother to a family reunion; the BMW carried us a couple of thousand miles in rapid, roomy, air conditioned comfort. Both cars have been very reliable although the BMW is expensive when it needs repairs or service; thank goodness it hasn't needed much.

I drive an '87 4wd 5spd and an '88 2wd 5spd Toyota van. They are both very reliable; both have well over 200,000 miles on them and are still going strong. I'm going to keep driving both until they fall apart, or I do ;)
Pre-'90 Toyota minivans are the greatest!

1989 Toyota PU with 155K miles and runs well. I have a company vehicle so I only drive the Toyota about 7K miles a year.
No car payment, insurance is dirt cheap, Registration is $65/ year, 25 mpg. I plan keeping it til it drops.
