My friend whos kinda fat and overweight has two guys who are fighting over her and I'm not trying to be mean but im kinda upset that I don't have two guys to fight over me because I'm thin and she isn't so I don't see why they should be in love with her. I guess I'm just jealous....and kinda stuck up...but what am I doing wrong? Why don't I have a boyfriend??

Girl, i think ur awesome.. if u dont have a boyfriend, just wait a bit and ur prince will show up soon. stop looking for competition and look for someone who likes you and wants a commitment. find someone u like not someone who is there to be called your boyfriend. GOOD LUCK!!

It sounds like you've identified two problems within yourself. You said you're jealous and stuck up. Having a boyfriend or two boys to fight over you should be the least of your worries. If you don't get over being stuck up and jealous you will be miserable the rest of your life! What you need to realize is that it's not the outer beauty or body size that attracts boys to girls, or girls to boys, it's the inner beauty. It's the personality and uniqueness of a person. If you are chosing friends or boyfriends based on how they look or whether they are fat or skinny, you are always going to miss out on knowing some of the best people in the world! There will always be someone prettier than you, and skinnier than you and even richer than you - so don't think of yourself as better than anyone else. Live your life being the best person - inside - that you can be. Don't judge people by their outward appearance - that can change in an instant! Get to know people for who they are and you'll find that you're not so jealous anymore. Be proud of who you are, but be willing to change things in your life that drag you down (like being stuck up - why are you?). Treat everyone the same regardless of how they look or how much money they have and you will have a wealth of friends and boyfriends!

By the question being asked I assume you're not over 17, and if you'd only talk to your parents you'd learn that adolescent boys do not fall in love, they fall in lust.
The 'friend' you mention might be a better 'tease' than you, but you shouldn't have a friend who you are jealous of, in the first place.
Being 'stuck up' is a surefire way to repel the little boys looking for some action, and to tell you the truth, that's not a bad thing at that age.
Just be yourself, trust your instincts and things are bound to change soon.

Hmmm.... I dunno, maybe you really shouldn't be jealous like that and have a good attitude about it and be happy for your friend. Who cares how overweight she is and how skinny you are... big deal. First off not all guys want skinny chicks...some of us (me included) perfer a woman that is a bit more fluffy, because we find them more down to earth, some are even more self-confident, sexually-appealing and have a great attitude compared to thin women.
And Secondly, attitudes like yours saying why ain't I getting two guys fighting over me since I'm skinner is an attitude many of us don't like. You should be happy your friend is getting all this attention. Having a jealous attitude, and especially if it shows, is not sexy. Maybe this is a factor for the reason you don't have boyfriend.
If you want guys fighting over you, just be yourself. Be self-confident, don't show jealousy towards your friends because they are getting more looks then you, and do your own thing. If you show self-confidence in yourself and are supportive of your friends, and of course be sexually appealing to the eye, then you'll have guys fighting over you too. Good luck.

LoL. Silly you! Forget about your friend for a minute and take her out of the picture. Instead of being a little "jealous" over it... ask yourself what do you and your friend have in common and what differences do you have?
Meanwhile, here are simple steps you guide you.
1) Find something to love about yourself... a personality trait that makes you the best way you can be. Are you generous? Funny? Open-minded? etc.
2) Just talk and enjoy yourself. A guy will definitely fall for a girl who knows herself and what she likes about herself. Seriously! He LOVES a girl who LOVES herself!

It's pretty funny, but it's true. It's always happened that way in my life too. You'll find though that down the road the character of those that are fighting over her are probably not the type of people you would hang around anyway.
I could be wrong, but from experience that's what I've found.

Yes there is something wrong with you. Nobody is perfect.
And when you find that guy who's willing to love you regardless of your faults you'll be so much happier then this girl who obviously flirts with anything on 2 legs and ends up with 13 illegitimate children in a trailer park.

maybe you just haven't found the right guy yet. I know how you feel. Sometimes I think the same way. I don't think anything is wrong with you, you are just getting frustrated at this lack of romance. I wish I had guys fighting over me as well!

well they may love her for her personality they may see somthing in her that alot of other boys dont see.... do u have a great personality that u know guys would like if you dont thats probably why but right now your personality kinda sucks and its not right to call your own friend fat because you envy her why dont you let go of the jealousy and ask her to give you a crash course on finding a great personality and then guys may start to appriciete you

i know how you feel. i felt lyk that once i was always upset that i ddnt have a boyfriend but i started hanging round wiv a group of ppl ma mates intoduced me 2 n i found someone in the end...maybe if u just be yourelf it could work i mean im really shy but wen im comfortable round certain lads they always seem to talk to me more so i fink if u b urself n put on a confident face im sure you'll find someone good luck!
