Unless this is some sort of riddle I am not getting, Northern Lights are not visible in South Carolina. I'm pretty sure they aren't visible in most of the US.

Rarely are the northern lights visible in South Carolina. Occasionally, they are visible in the northern United States. I saw them a lot in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan...they're pretty cool.
