Why do ugly people get puppies that look like them? Like Ugly Pugs, Chihuahuas, & Shih-Tzus???

For one I don't know how you can say pugs, chihuahuas, and Shih-tzus are ugly. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Just because you think they are ugly doesn't mean everyone else does. Looks are not everything. Ugly dogs need love too. And many ugly people have cute dogs, just as well many beautiful people have ugly dogs. I think your wrong on your perception.

Well ANYONE, gets puppies that remind them of their family, actually, it's a misconception that people get animals that are like them, they actually get pets, that remind of their families, and you know what? your family looks like you too.
People dont realize it when they are buying a pet, but they look for animals that make them feel comfortable or at home, or click well with them.

Also, Conveince, For example, an older person, would get a smaller dog, such as a chihuahua, because they have a hard time taking care of anything else, and older people, tend to be be btiter, or stubborn, much like Chihuahuas. and most older people, are smaller, and frailer. Anyone can be a chihuahua owner, but generally people who want as little maintance as possible, will choose this dog.

Pugs, are dominate dogs, they defend territory, and look tough, so people who 'are' toughened by life experiences, will choose, this dog, if they want a small easy to maintain dog. These people are often kicked back, and dont really take alot of 'poo' from people.

Shih-tzu owners, like HIGH maintance dogs, they love the long hair, that can be styled, and up, and in little bows, and all that stuff, generally rich people, or peopel who dont have alot of friends or other outlets in their life, sort of get this Paper doll version of a Dog... and play with them, and their fur. These people, probably have bleached blonde hair or a perm, and get their nails done all the time.... High maintance people, like highmaintance animals.

I often notice that many people often share some resemblance to their dogs. I think this is because people subconsciously are drawn to an animal that shares some sort of characteristic to them. For example, a big stocky guy may have a Rottweiler. Someone who is tall and skinny may have a Great Dane. Some one who is cute and small may have a little Chihuahua.

Are you saying that all these critters are ugly? Maybe people have different tastes in animals and often get animals that remind them of themselves or family members. Someone tall and athletic may want a dog that is tall and athletic like them that could play with them better.

I continually idea they were grotesque because those I considered had over shot jaws and buggy eyes.. Then my cousin were given one from a good breeder, and that i ought to no longer believe the version..that canines is the cutest I have ever considered!

My boyfriend has a pug and he is a hottie. So, ugly dogs dont always go to ugly people.

that's a personal opinion. while you might think those dogs are ugly other people might think they are cute. that's why human beings are all different. if we all liked the same things, what would happen to everything else??? some guys may think you are cute, while others won't. that's just life my dear.

It takes the atttention off them . Plus the need a palymate.
