Does anyone have any positive experiences of the Mirena Coil reducing the symptoms of Pre Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder?
Thanks!

Patients should be advised that there is insufficient evidence to comfirm that the Mirena Coil [levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system or LNG-IUS] alone is effective in the treatment of premenstrual symptoms, and there are few published data on the use of the LNG-IUS in the management of premenstrual syndrome or the more severe premenstrual dysphoric disorder. However, having noted that, at least one noncomparative study of LNG-IUS identified "a reduction in subjective premenstrual symptoms in 56% of women."

Hopefully, you will be in the 56%. Feel better.
