Brazilian wax is a TYPE OF bikini wax. Brazilian bikini waxes have been 'all the rage' since the late 90's, but they're certainly not new the US. Brazilian waxing was introduced to New York in 1987 by seven Brazilian-born sisters. So how does it differ from a regular bikini wax? Basically, with the Brazilian, hair is removed in the front, back & everything in between. Most of the time a 'landing strip' is left in the front, but some clients opt for everything removed. More than you wanted to know????

Don't trim, it helps if it's at least 1/2-1 inch long. You can try Ibuprofen, but I tried some Lorcet (left over from mouth surgery and it didn't eve touch the pain! lol). You just gotta grin and bear it. Hurt equally as much as my tattoo. Similarly, it only hurts exactly when they do it, not after. Much worse, is when they do the stray hairs with tweezers. The things we do for beauty...
When it comes to modesty, it really depends on the woman who does it. I had two different women in FL do it and they had me covered up the entire time, only exposing the square centimeter of skin they were waxing at a time. Not embarrassing at all. But I had it done once in London, and the French girl that did it had me completely naked even while doing my legs! That was a bit awkward. Just let them know about the skin, they'll be careful. I mean, they can do men's balls, all that loose skin, they've got to be able to deal with anything.

Just be realxed and realize that they see all types of things all the time. Mention that you have a the growth so they can be careful around it. I actually did not know that they waxed the anal area when doing a Brazilian until one of my friends talked about it because she was embarrased of a skin condition left by a hemroid (sp) when she was a kid. She said the lady put her at ease and all was well- things should go ok for you too.

First of all they have seen everything at this point, so don't be embarrased. You also need to take 2 ibuprofen and make sure that your hair is grown out fairly long, so they have something to grab a hold of. Drink plenty of water and relax. Remember also to take deep breaths. Pain is mind over matter. If you don't mind then it doesn't matter.

Thanks for sharing your anal skin tag with us, I'm sure that everyone now feels much better knowing about it. If you are getting it done it's because you know someone who also has it done so why don't you ask them.
PS; be careful what you write on here, even using the word anus could get you suspended.
