Why do conservatives lie about "liberals" and Democrats?

I have been misquoted and taken out of context in an election year
by Republicans sweating over the possible loss of the Senate.

I dont see moderates or liberals doing this.Even S H I R A Z changed his name to mine and asked a bogus question.

He WISHED he could be me.But isnt that always the way? Democrats get all the girls(like I do on this site),Republicans get all ticked off and use every trick in the book,especially in an election year.

Conservatives and especially Christian conservatives find it hard to comprehend how and why liberals lie so easily. Many liberals seem to lie without the slightest guilt or compunction.

For left-wing politics, lying goes back to the Russian Bolsheviks or earlier. The masses were lied to because the ruling elite (or the ruling elite to be) felt that the ends (Marxism) justified any means, and the masses were too stupid and ignorant to know what was good for them. But the ruling elite knew exactly what was good for them. Leftists have a rather low opinion of the masses, the average citizen.

Liberalism is like a religion, and it has zealots as fanatical as any other religion. But unlike most religions, liberalism has no moral code. The closest thing to a moral code in liberalism is “don’t get caught”. Ethics are situational, and totally up for interpretation. The truth is subjective, and the truth is merely what you want it to be. To the fanatic the leftist cause is so noble, so sacred that any lying or cheating for the leftist cause is justified.

When a liberal lies to the American public, he is in effect saying,

“You are too stupid to know what is good for you. I know what is good for you. I will say anything I need to say to convince you my way is the right way.”

If liberals were honest about their vision for this country few people would ever vote for them. Liberals must lie to us in order to impose the tyranny of liberalism upon us.

If a person can not find facts to back up allegations then they bring up old issues to back up their new claims.

Banging fat chicks with cigars in the oval office instead of running the country, all kinds of murders to anyone who disagreed with him, the Rich pardon, selling sercerts to N.Korea and China, and my personal favorite.. HAVING THE CHANCE TO GET BIN LADEN, YET NOT DOING IT after he committed several terrorist acts on our embassies and the USS COLE, only for him to get the ultimate job done killing of over 3000 people on 9-11. I could ask the same thing of people from your end of the spectrum. I think I've been attacked more for my beliefs than ANYONE else on this site. Think I'm kidding? I've had false accusations thrown against me like you would not believe. A certain group on here has been accusing me of hacking onto their 360 pages (which is stupid, because IF I was a hacker, why would I waste my time "hacking" onto their stupid pages? I'd just send their computer a virus that would knock out their hard drive.), having multiple profiles (I only have the one, thank you, I only NEED one), being a pedophile (I talk about wanting to KILL pedophiles), lying about military experience (which I never said I had, though I have said I'm a military wife, which is true), lying about my location (which I am not), posing as a woman (last I checked, I've ALWAYS been a female), and being racist (I most certainly am NOT. Ask my friends of other ethnic backgrounds.)...the list goes on and on.
And now, because they've been reported for harassment so many times, they've had to resort to giving me thumbs-down on ALL of my answers.
Want more evidence? I'll have at least six thumbs down before this question is resolved. Unless, of course, these kids' parents don't let them use the internet.
But I'm not really complaining. It means I got under their skin.
That's the same reason some conservatives do nothing but insult liberals. If they're lying about you, you should be flattered.

It isn't just the liberals being attacked on this site. I'm a moderate with conservative leanings, and it's YOUR people (or at least, they claim to be your people, I call BS though) who are doing this to me. All for telling them that they're part of the problem, they have no REAL proof for most of anything they say, and in order to discredit me they have to LIE.
Same as what some conservatives have done to you. Go figure.
