LOTR cause the whole Middle Earth thing is so cool. I also love Tyler Perry Diary of a Mad Black Woman, cause it's funny but good natured film.
Kiss the Girls & Along Came the Spider were also good cause Morgan Freeman was in them.
And I loved the old movies with actors like Bing Crosby, Judy Garland, Tyrone Power, Danny Kaye & Gene Kelly.

For comedy, I love, "The Princess Bride." It's just too damn funny, the Spaniard, Andre the Giant, Billy Crystal and so forth.
A serious film - I like "Glory" - oddly, it has the same actor that played Wesley in the Princess Bride. Glory is an amazing story that speaks to some of the deep racial divisions in the country.

My favorite film is Vertigo. It's an incredible artistic masterpiece, masterfully-arranged and richly textured, and Alfred Hitchcock's most profound and personal work. It is a tale of love, death, guilt and obsession, and it features highly inventive and creative camera angles, surreal and dream-like cinematography, vibrant San Francisco scenery, a hauntingly-beautiful and unconventional musical score from the legendary composer Bernard Herrmann, and a frightening, career-best performance from the terrific actor James Stewart.

The King and I, with Yul Brynner and Deborah Kerr. My grandparents introduced me to this movie when I was a kid, and it's a beautiful and intense love story with colorful costumes and perfect acting. A total classic, I love everything about it, and I'm glad my grandparents were around to teach me to appreciate classic movies :)

Never Been Kissed... its such a feel good film, Drew Barrymore is as usual, annoyingly flawless in her performance, and it has Michael Vartan! What more could a girl want?!

Pirates of the Caribbean! It's got action, adventure, romance, comedy, and of course, the staple Hot Guy (Johnny Depp, Orlando sucks @ss). So clever, so witty...How could you NOT love it?!
