And did you actually see an improvement in your score? Were the methods useful? How ready did you feel taking the test after the course? Would you recommend taking the course or just studying from the books? Thanks.

Just buy the Collegeboard's Official SAT Prep Course for 20 bucks and take their practice tests. They raised my score by 100 points on each section. So I went from 1900's to 2200's.

I took this course as well back in February/March of this year.
It was VERY helpful-- upped my score but 170 points. However, I did have an outrageous hope of outcome so I was somewhat disappointed. But it seriously helped. A lot of the math strategies helped me. They don't "teach" you how to do math, they give you hints and tips of how to get and CHOOSE the RIGHT answer. Basically narrow down the wrong ones. The writing and reading was good too. I learned a lot of grammer stuff I didn't know before.

*Plus, the teacher was cute too. He was only 24! HA!
The other teacher was an old woman but she was nice too. She actually brought our class (of four) candy bars like every third session.

The only thing I didn't like about the course was the timing. It was like three hours long and got excruciatingly boring..... after the second hour. Hahaha and the days you need to meet per week--- If you're a busy person (like me) and have lots of other things to do like sports or a job or other priorities, you might be pretty overwhelmed.

They DO give you homework but you don't need to do it. Then again, you should cause this is your money man (and a buttload of it too) so you might as well make the best and take advantage of it.

I took a review course, and I did see a lift in my results, but not nearly as much as I would've hoped. I know that these days the Princeton Review guarantees something like a 200 point increase in your score though. I would actually suggest going to the Princeton Review Website and looking for FREE classes or test practice days so that you don't have to waste money. Also, I suggest going to the collegeboard website and printing the free, full-lengthed Practice SAT: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/prep_one/test.html
