when u put ur foot down and demand it.
if u listen to him, it's reasonable for u to want him to listen to u. therefore, if he doesn't try, he is treating u unfairly. very black and white.
if u feel unhappy, or neglected, there is a problem. as ur husband , he needs to be a man and be willing and able to take care of anything Together with you as his wife. if he doesn't, ur in for an unhappy time together...?
good luck... hope u can help him realize what U need in the marriage, that is just as important.

Probably never.
However, there are studies which indicate that the higher pitched voice of most women is very difficult for men to hear. They also do not multi-task well, as a rule. So, if he's watching television, he isn't going to focus on what you're yapp....saying.
You also need to limit your yapp...talking to him to short periods of time..ones that are actually scheduled, so he can plan for them. 15 minutes is considered about the longest time he can focus on what you're ....saying...(fooled you, didn't I?)

they tend not to listen when you nag...dont nag...ask once and let it go then if they dont to it do it yourself and make them feel bad...next time they will do it.
