Well, anything is possible but I think usually they are born that way and would know prior to that.

Guys don't "become" gay- they are either born gay or not. They may decide to "come out" and let others know they are gay in their college years. It is not a choice for gay men or women, it is biological. Some may choose to live a life they are uncomfortable with to save embarrasment or humility.

One of my best friends did. It was after he took some time off for himself that he came out. However, I know a lot more guys that are in college and are not gay. I imagine it's 50/50 gay and straight.

I think someone's worried he might be gay while he's in college.
I for one am a heterosexual! So let's not start the "takes one to know one"
lol
But why else would you ask? Why WOULD you ask? It's like asking if a guy can become gay while working as a CEO for an oil company.
It can happen anytime. THe more you fear it, the less happy you'll be.

Your question is misleading. Sexuality is misleading itself. From my "studies", I think sexuality isn't fully determined genetically but also through your life. In a way, sexuality also depends on your life experiences. It is slowly built and it takes many years to come to terms with. Sexuality has no boundaries. You can be traditionally a heterosexual but this really doesn't mean anything. The short answer to your questions is no. Currently, society is a bit homophobic but expect sexuality to change dramatically in years to come.
