Well, if you're actually asking about America and their relationship with Israel, I'd have to say that as allies we support them in defending their borders and their people. I assume, that's probably why they like us back. Additionally, the Mossad has been amazingly helpful to the US over the years.

Well, your question is hard to figure out, but basically the Jews in Israel are standing for good and fighting evil on behalf of the entire world. Many American Jews have become liberalized, which is the sad part, but they're basically pretty decent except for a few very liberal extremist polticians.

It is a sad fact that a lot of the political debate here in America is little more than uninformed thuggery. I'm sorry to say you need only look at some of the responses to your question to see that.

Yes, a lot of Americans support Israel no matter what. A lot of those supporters do so because someone (maybe a politician or someone on the television) told them that was the right thing to do, not because they have an informed opinion about the matter. It is unfortunate but true that a lot of Americans support Israel because they fear or hate Arabs, they have been taught to. The argument for giving Israel carte blanche to do whatever they want to whomever they want is that we are supporting democracy in the region. It seems to me that our support of Israel has done little or nothing to promote the spread of democracy and indeed, has turned millions of potential allies in the region against us. The anti American and anti democracy sentiment in the region has become so mainstream that even the most moderate of Arabs would find it difficult to voice their views openly. Most of the Arab world sees the Lebanese and Palestinians as their brothers and are offended by attacks on them and why not? We see countries like Ireland as our brothers here in the U.S. and most of us would take an attack on their civilians as a personal affront. Is it really so hard to see why giving a free hand to Israel, no matter what, has become a recruiting poster for extremists? This country has the ability to exert tremendous pressure on Israel and yet we do not. I really don't believe that this administration really cares about peace or democracy in the region. The Lebanese and Palestinians I have known are good and decent people just like the rest of us and they want justice and goodness just like we do, they want to be free to raise their families and pursue happiness. If we as a nation really cared about peace and democracy in the region we would help and encourage them do just that.

My best friend is Jewish. I love him. I don't really know too many others, except his family, though. I can't say that I have any feelings about any race of people in particular. There are stupid, obnoxious people just about everywhere and from every culture. I live in a part of the U.S. that has a little bit of every culture. It's actually a little frightening for me to be somewhere where there isn't a good mix. I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone or something. I hope this helped.
