I read somewhere that boys are conceived during the first 24 to 48 hours of ovulation and little girls are conceived 48 to 72 hours of ovulation. I tried to get pregnant so....right when the temp chart spiked....we had sex and conceived 2 boys....worked for me. Good Luck!

mainly the chances are 50/50 like everyone else has been saying, but in america the population of baby boys being born is higher than baby girls. it all deepends on the x or the y chromoseome. females automatically have an x but the male is what determans what the sex of the child will be. all babies in the early stages are females. That's our default gene. The amount of testoserone the fetus is subjected to also helps making the baby a boy or a girl. the more testoserone in the womb the more of a chance it will be a boy. hope that helps.
