Daniel - Elton John, Knocking On Heaven's Door - Bob Dylan, Eleanor Rigby - The Beatles, The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down - Joan Baez, and almost every song Springsteen has down (my wife cries every time the Boss is on the stereo). If it was my wife answering this question the server would crash, I think she knows every sad song ever written!!!

Eric Clapton's "Tears In Heaven". He wrote this song for his recently deceased 4yo son. Ironically, around that same time I lost my grandmother. I think of her passing whenever I listen to that song.
