You might be. You should get a pregnancy test just to make sure. I don't know if the shot is effective immediately. I am on the pill and I had to wait 2 months to not use protection. I do know that the depo shot can cause some weird and awful side effects. Did you discuss these side effects with your doctor? Do you know anybody who uses the depo shot? I am not a doctor and, I don't want to scare you but, I had four close friends go on the depo shot. They all gained 50-100 pounds, had horrible side effects9i.e modiness, crying a lot, irritability, unstable emotions, etc. and, my brother's fiance actually started growing hair on her chin because the depo shot contains a male hormone.

I don't think antibiotics affect Depo, just the pills.
that being said, Depo does awful weird things to the body, I took it once and hated it, I thought I was pregnant the whole time. Depo can stop your periods and make them very unpredictable. Chances are you are not pregnant, but to be sure you should have a test done.

I was on depo for 2 years straight. Depo keeps you from ovulating. Ovulating is when you have a period. Most people don't have a period because they are not ovulating. It was the best time of my life on depo. The reaso I got off is because it gave me bad migraines.

The shot can cause you not to have your period also.... I have heard that antibiotics can affect birth control pills. Did you inform your doctor that you were on the shot.. Your suppose to tell them if they are not the ones that are giving you the shot.
If your a truly concerned about it i would contract your doctor and ask them.
Gl to ya!!!!

Talk to your doctor, if the antibiotics would counteract the birth control thay should have told you first. Also I would take a home pregnancy test.
