He's obviously hanging around the wrong kind of people. My husband and I may not always get along,but he is ALWAYS respectful of me when he's around his friends. Even if we are arguing he will never bad mouth me to anyone. What's going on between us is going on between us. I would be crushed if he ever did anything mean to me in front of people so I can understand your hurt - Have you said anything to him? If you've told him and he doesn't care, there may be other issues there. Are his friends disrespectful to their spouses as well? It just sounds like he's got a lot of negative influences in his life.

No, but if he did, we would have some serious arguments! My husband treats me with respect no matter what we do, where we are or who we are around. There is no reason to put up with someone treating you badly in front of anyone, it is immature.

HELL NO my husband doesn't treat me like that! Your husband needs to show you more respect. Tell him how you feel. If he doesn't change then stop doing things for him like dinner, laundry, sex etc.
