I need some help. Or a good textbook for the Holocaust that's appropriate for High School kids.

--Is Catholic--

YES! The following would be appropriate for that grade level and subject.

For the Holocaust from a Catholic perspective, I would recommend the works of
St. Edith Stein (Jewish convert and martyr)
St. Maximilian Kolbe (martyr)
I would also recommend the works of Pope Pius XII who was the Pope during that period and wrote extensively on the situation.

I also recommend the book "Salvation is From the Jews" by a Jewish convert to Catholicism. The later chapters deal extensively on the Holocaust.

You can see his website here
http://www.salvationisfromthejews.com/

I also HIGHLY recommend showing the movies (though not Catholic to my knowledge)
"Life is Beautiful"
"Jakob the Liar"

I do imagine scholars might want to study a minimum of one in intense college. as far as being too "mature", have you ever study any of the Gossip women or Twilight sequence? those books have many mature matters - purely of a countless vein. also, intense college is the time for faculty scholars to commence seeing the international. Why can we would want to provide them a "bright, chuffed" version of the international at the same time as this isn't as it is? finally, i comprehend they study about the Holocaust in middle college - this isn't a sparkling, or wonderful topic to them. And, have you ever considered video games? those are very violent - scholars CAN take care of those books. I supply my honors scholars a summer examining selection of evening (between the books from the fast e book record - alongside with Hiroshima) and Schindler's record (between the books from the lengthy e book record - alongside with First They Killed my Father, among others).
