Firstly..it's a month away..so dont freak out yet...I freaked out my first homecoming and it didnt go like it should've.
Just go to a store and look at the dresses you like in colors you like..
Try on a few and you'll find one you like..
As for your hair..maybe you could put it up in a bun with alittle bit at the sides of your face curly.
I think that would look nice!
Have a great time!!

well, i'm in the same boat chickadee... well, i was 4 years ago, lol. i just graduated HS. I am the same height and same everything, but more tan. dont go too formal... save that for prom. make it fun and flirty. whats the theme? if you like to dance then wear something that flatters you figure. drop earrings and chandelier earrings can be alot of fun out on the floor. as for shoes, try something that can stay strqapped on, not a sandal high heel. for exapmle... the shoe in the link is perfect to dance in. you can show off by dancing in a pair of high heels. actually, they make it more fun and help your curvy flirty moves a bit. keep the shoes light weight. stay with a cocktail dress. the color depends on the theme. something that flows on the bottom but hugs your curves and shows a bit of skin on the top is perfect! especially if you can find one with a moderatelly low back. (Not one that makes you look like an expensive hooker. LoL) Go to www.claires.com for fun jewlery. hair, if your hair is straight, dont do big curls... they will fall out in an hour or two. if you keep it up, then its gonna be really formal. go to your salon and ask the stylist for something that will give you movement on the floor but look really stylish. good luck!

I would say to look for your shoes at a dance supply or Bridal
store. You can dance all night pain free. I made a big mistake my first dance & got blisters in the first hour! Not coll & no fun.
You have time to try to find the shoes you like & then find a dress the matches. Have fun, be young & what ever you do...
DON'T PUT OUT!!!!!!! You'll only regret it. Be smart girl, it will save you a heck of a lot of hassel!

well you should buy a knee length dress, very appropriate for homecoming.... you should def. go with a group of friends or if you're getting dates the have a couples group. go out to eat at a fun place like a pizza place, but nothing too formal cuz its homecoming, its supposed to be fun! since you get really hot and sweaty at dances you should wear your hair up, but thats totally up to you, and dont overdo your makeup, thats just not right (you would look fake) just put some black eyeliner on your top lids and bottom (halfway on both to make your eyes look bigger) and maybe some sparkles on your eyes and black or brown/black mascara.... but the most important thing is to not freak out...this year is going to be my first homecoming too, but i've already been to formals this past year... its a bunch of fun and you'll be totally ready!!! maybe try getting ready with your friends!! thats always fun!! i hope this helps and have fun!!!!!!!!!

the #1 rule to things like that is to RELAX! Wear red dress, below the knees, above it to hard. , wearr pretty high heels, but not to huge, dont put too much jewlery.just a necklace, a ring , maybe a bracelet. For your hair , eith curl it a little, or tie it low, and clip it in the back with a clip on clip and also dont be nervous!
