Not the most talented band in the world, (and maybe that is why) but so many of their songs are still amazing. I just think it's kickass, the way you can at times not hear what Kurt is screaming/singing, but still understand the emotions behind it.
Plus, some of their songs, like On A Plain, Dumb and Spank Thru has the greatest lyrics.

Nirvana was a better than average band but they did not invent
"Grunge" music the term was coined by the media and attached to said band. Ton's of bands were playing that style years before the word "Grunge" appeared on the landscape. I played in several pre grunge, grunge bands.

ok nirvana was a revolutionary in forming grunge music. kurt cobain is brilliant but I WILL NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING THAT SAYS NIRVANA BECAUSE THE PROFIT GOES TO COURTNY LOVE!!!!!!
