hey i recently got really drunk (bad i know) and slept with this guy im nearly sure it was protected (i kept telling 2 put a condom on) but took the morning after pill the next morning just to be sure i had my period last week (it came a week early) but it was quite a bit lighter than it normally is (i usually hav v heavy periods) - is it possible that i could be pregnant? I know i was stupid not to make sure it was definately protected i was a stupid drunk 18yr old on holiday that nite!

If you took the morning after pill your not gonna be pregnant, but I would go to an STD clinic and make sure you didn't catch anything

I very much doubt you are pregnant if you took the morning-after pill and have had a period since. It was possibly very light because your hormones are a bit mixed up and your body will be adjusting. If you need to reassure yourself though, buy a pregnancy test kit just to be 100% sure.
You also need to consider the possibility of STDs if you think there might have been any doubt that he used a condom. We all make mistakes, and after the event there's no point in anyone lecturing you because what's done is done. But you do need to think about getting yourself tested because your long-term health is at risk, even if there are no signs right now.

I doubt it. If you took the morning pill, and bleed for a while, then, had your period right after, you would most likely have a lighter flow. However, if you aren't sure that he used protection, then, you should go to the doctor and be checked out, if not for pregnancy, then to rule out that "night of stupidity" didn't give you anything else. Good luck. Ps. sometimes it's ok to be stupid, just be aware of the after-effects.

If you took the morning after pill, that is why you had your period early, and that's why it was lighter than normal, that is what the morning after pill does, it brings on your period regardless, so if you had any sperm in your Cervix it cleans you out to stop you becoming pregnant, Don't worry

Dont be ashamed im sure your not the only one whos had one night stands, erm if u took the morn afterpill its more likely ur not but if ur worried seek medical advise....

You can still get pregnant when you get your period and still have your period when you are pregnant. Best bet, get a pregnancy test.
