Some cultures, in particular the Roma also believe that demons can also possess animals, plants, deceased persons or inanimate objects.
during the Middle Ages, hundreds of cats, goats, and other animals were slain because of the idea that they were either an incarnation of a demon or possessed by one.
Pigs are more common but dogs can be possessed too.

I don't think so but I think my cat is possessed....don't let him get near the dog....that would be a bad situation.
