I really can't blame my bf for getting flowes at the last minute, because I think Valentine's Day is a dumb holiday.

I've finally reached the conclusion that Valentine's Day is really a kids' holiday. I mean, how much fun was it at school to deliver all your valentines to the handmade boxes and eat all that candy! As an adult, I think Valentine's is overrated and unnecessary, but my kids absolutely love it!

Oh, I love all the holidays. Especially Valentine's Day, sure your bf or gf shows you they love you but Valentine's Day is a time where they can go all out. This is the day they can show you how special you really are.

It is my favorite holiday of the year, even more than my birthday or Christmas. I keep hoping to get a beautiful card from my true love with a bouquet of yellow roses. It doesn't get any better than that! Oddly, it never happens, but a lady can hope, can't she?

Its not my favorite holiday either. My boyfriend and I mutually decided not to bother with it and we just did our normal thing that day. I have no desire for a pink and red teddy bear or a heart shaped box of chocolates. I think if you need to have a holiday to tell someone you love them then its a sad commentary on your relationship. Of course when I was boyfriendless it would have made my year if a boy I liked gave me a valentine, I guess its a matter of perspective.

I don't really think too much about V-Day...for my husband and me, it's just a relaxing evening of eating chocolate covered strawberries and fancy cheeses while we watch old movies. We don't go into the whole flowers and cards thing. That's what makes it a "Hallmark Holiday".

I love all the heart things for that day. Didn't matter if I had someone special or not just loved the day.

i didn't care about it and I'm never celebrate it.but for most people celebrating Valentine because they think their love is so pure and true....but for me there is no such day to celebrate our love because everyday is a valentine and true love doesn't have a happy ending because TRUE LOVE HAS NO ENDING...........

It's a good excuse to have sex with your spouse/significant other, when you might not otherwise. Lol.
