Now that you can't even fly with toothpaste, I want to go into business selling sundries on the arrivals side of the airport for everyone that just had their shaving kit taken away. I won't gouge them anymore than Starbucks does.

I think it's gone too far. Some profiling sure would have helped the airport lines today.

(and for those of you about to go on a rant, this was tongue-in-cheek)

You need big bucks for an airport kiosk. Then you can give over most of your profit to the airport. Not as lucrative as it seems!

contact the airport's corporate offices and inquire about retail opportunities. you can also find this info on the net. you'll be directed to the person in charge of retail. they will give you info on how to lease space from owners or buy your own space.

good luck!

My wife and I took her mother on holiday last month.

She is 82, very deaf and about 4'7"

When she went through the scanner it bleeped.
They searched her and found 4 safetypins. (Why do all old women carry safetypins wherever they go)

They took them away and she started to cry.
Apparently they were antique safetypins (good grief) and they used to belong to her grandmother.

"Sorry" said Jobsworth.

Ruined her holiday.
