Who here is fighting their own addiction to something? I want people to know they are not alone.
I have recently kicked my habit of snorting pain pills, ritlin and many other types of uppers.

What a great question. I do not have any addictions, I just wanted to say how great I think it is to let people know they are not alone in their problems. Good luck!!

I wouldn't say I'm fighting my addiction anymore, I was addicted to Meth for about 15 years. I would basically do any drug that would get me high, for while it was heroin, and then I just drank alcohol, then I'd tried being just a stoner, but eventually I'd end up on Meth again. Finally somewhere down the line, all of it stopped working. No matter what i ingested it wouldn't take the pain away, and then because I was an addict, I couldn't stop. I was using and drinking against my own will. I ended up home-less again( I tried getting sober about 12 years ago and was successful for about 8 months and got off the streets) but up until 20 months ago it was hard, hard drug abuse. I ended up in a home-less detox and started working a 12 step program and now being sober, I have a life that i never imagined. Good luck to ya and remember to take it one day at a time.(Sorry for the life story, I have a tendency to ramble)

Fighting an addiction to junk food...and all that other, yummy bad for you stuff. Especially chocolate and soda. I dont' want to get fat. :( Good luck!!!

I'm on Prozac only by Docs orders but I feel now I can't go on with out them. Also I must have my Cigs.

Try to just stay away and think of other ways to do so!
