DMX by far! Don't get me wrong I love Dre. and he has some songs that were the shhh, but as far as lyrical content, there is no contest. Anyone who thinks differently really wasn't listening! People that would disagree are exactly who Jay-z was talking about in several songs with lines like " I dumbed down for my audience...", and "Lyrically I wanna rhyme like Common Sense, but I sold 5 mil., I ain't been rhymin' like Common since."

Or my new love's quote ( 50 Cent ) " if you spped your mind up, I wouldn't have to slow down for you to catch up."

Dre. is great, but far from the greatest. ( He is retired from rapping for a reason guys! ) Stick to producing, cuz I can't get enough of GGGG G-UNIT!

Its a difficult decision~I think DMX has an original voice and style that is unlike anyone elses. Dre? I have heard less of his raps and more of what he has produced so I can't say much, but what I have heard wasn't that bad....I think I like DMX more because of the struggles he deals with daily (loss of a close friend and drinking problem) lead him to write more original music, he tells it like it is in his life and doesn't seem to care who supports him or not.

DMX. Dre is ok, but DMX is a great story teller. He's songs make sense from start to finish, they don't just rhyme. And he's pretty funny too... "listen your *** is about to missin'... you know who's gonna find you? Some old man fishin"

Dr. Dre. His flow is amazing and he knows exactly how to rap to each track (being that he is a producer.) Plus his rhymes are so underrated. He's an amazing lyricist. Dre is the better one by far.
