Yes, you are very young and have many years of dating ahead of you. Just enjoy being young for now because once you are a grown up, you will wish you could go back. I know that is an old person thing to say, but it is true. Have fun while you can!!!

It certainly sounds as if your mom has your best interests at heart. She is giving advice that even girls of 18 could use sometimes. School and sports is a lot--maybe you should fit in a cute puppy to cuddle, but boyfriends are a LOT of work!

I would deffinitely listen to her. Your only 13. Trust me....there is plenty of time for boys. I would use that time for school and sports and friends. I wouldn't waste it on a guy. You would be thenkfull in the long run if you do listen to her.

Yes you should! Omg yes you should! She is right! parents are always right. I'm only 15 but have learned that the hard way. Listen to your mother, you'll regret it if you don't. Plus, give yourself time to heal hun.

I think your mom is giving you wise advice. She was 13. She knows a little bit more about guys and dating. Give her advice a chance. What do you have to loose?

Always listen to your mom. She knows what is best for you. And you are too young for dating anyway.
