I don't want to hate them, but look at the latest terrorist plot that was thwarted - they were planning on mass murder!! How can I not help looking at an Arab, any Arab, and not trusting them? How do I know there not from some sleeper cell? This whole thing has me confused as to how to feel about the whole terrorist situation and current events.

Muslim Arabs have been in conflict with most of the civilized world ever since Mohammad got started with his own religion. It has been about 16 centuries. Most muslims live in muslim-dominated countries. Islam has been used by governments and cleric to control populations for centuries.
Arab culture had been somewhat isolated from the rest of the modern world. Modern day, almost instant communications are waking up and educating a lot of people.
Islamo-fascists are using the politics of hate and the muslim religion to create enemies so as to get the masses of people to think about something other than their miserable lives and repressive governments.
If there are any good muslims in the world, their silence is deafening. The sane religious seem to be afraid of the insane religious.
Be safe. Do not trust any muslims. Way too many of them express the desire to have their religion replace all other religions. Their religion is a form of government as well, where religious law dominates. In the US we fight and die for our freedoms. So we are at extreme opposite ends of the political spectrum.

You need to realize that there are many wonderful Arabs out there. Some Arabs are born again Christians. Jesus is saving them throughout the middle east & elswhere in great numbers right now.

The terrorists are those who are being terrorists for the cause of Islam / Allah.

God tells us to pray for our enemies. I pray they learn the truth about Jesus Christ, the Son of God, & if they reject it that they get caught & imprisoned. If that proves too difficult, then they get killed before they lead any other ones to destruction.

I believe the root of terrorism is the big black turbin, & also that they wear white when they are willing to be a martyr for the cause of Islam.

The 9/11 Islamic martyrs wore everyday clothes though. Tricky.

As christians we are to pray for our enemies. Just start praying for them. God will let you know where they are hiding. He will give you assurance that He is watching over you. Cast all your cares on Him for He cares for you.

I know how you feel. I am not a hateful person, but it is hard to trust them because you do not know if they are a terrorist or not! I just stay away from them whether they claim they are a terrorist or not. How do I know they ALL are not in some kinda scheme?

How do we know you did not plan the London plot, how do we know that the plot was not done by Israelis to create a cover for the massacres committed and planned to be committed in Lebanon and Palestine. If your really looking for an answer to your question, do not prejudge, just like our stupid president who came out using a new term today ( Islamofaciasim) god gave us a brain to use, not to just get it filled, washed with lies

Well, if a bunch of people of YOUR ethnic background said and did evil things, would you want others to automatically hate YOU?

No? I didn't think so.

The problem is not one of race/ethnicity but one of philosophy/ideology.

Yes, some of them are a threat to our way of life. And so, yes, we must give ALL of them greater scrutiny than we might do otherwise. But hate? Nah...I don't think so. (Remember, that's how Cambodians managed to murder 25% of their own people, that's why Tutsi and Hutus hacked one another up with machetes and why Hitler was able to put millions into concentration camps--among many other world-wide and history-wide disgraces.)

It's true, alot of us non arab and non persians are nervous because we know the profile of a terrorist. However, you and I know that not all are bad. It's just something that is happening in our lifetime that will be remembered.

Its hard not to. I know that they arent all like that but it is hard not to think about it sometimes. You just have to remember that the majority of them that are over here are here to work and live and in peace.
