There are several different psychic abilities. Seeing the future is only one of them. What most of these answers are saying is that being psychic is the same thing as omniscience. No, it's not.
But to answer the question. India, in that, is like most places. Some accept it, some don't and most just don't care.

Although I know some psychics can see their own future. I think that phenomena is real good here. A lot of people believe in in you only if what you say is true.

Your a Psychic or a Tantric ? Here in India You'l find different types of people. Just put an ad. in th local newspaper and u will have a mile of people to see u.

What do you mean by psychic? Mad?. Don't worry. We have quite a number. You will not be alone, here. We are mad about our religion, our gods, our politicians, our castes, our different cultures, regions etc. Some times, it is a virtual bedlam. Don't be scared. We are otherwise harmless and you are most welcome to India.

Nobody will believe you.
Some will seek you to know your opinion when nobody is looking.
Do not try it. I am sure you need work permit to do it. And your tourist visa wont cover it. So if you do not want to go jail, do not advertise your profession nor practice it.
