I am a US Citizen and I was thinking about applying to a medical school in England, but I am concerned about the levels of reputation. Are US schools better? Should I consider Internat'l schools?

The problem with going int'l is that you may have some problems getting licensed later. To get into a good residency program in the US, int'l students need to score higher on the USMLE compared to domestically educated candidates.

Also, the UK has a vested interest in keeping their talent in the UK. If they sense you will not be practicing in the UK, they will not want to let you in.

Give some of the Caribbean schools a try. I am applying to Ross and St. George's. These schools include Stateside training for their students, and most match to US residencies.

the 1st reaction on your question is right and that i might purely upload a greater reinforcement which you won't be able to circulate to a US scientific college. you will have greater suitable issues than in basic terms attending a school you do in contrast to. Your college could be acknowledged by applying the international wellness company formerly you began your first day on the college or you isn't accepted to take the USMLE. do no longer take my observe for it--visit the ECFMG internet website and examine their eligibility standards. have you ever checked along with your state's scientific licensing board to confirm in the adventure that your college is proper? Odds are, if it extremely is a sparkling college that is not, yet they are going to maximum probable in basic terms aid you already know that each and each application for a license to prepare of their state is reviewed on somebody foundation. The Federation of State scientific boards has been addressing the priority of Caribbean scientific faculties for various years now and greater states are tightening their rules and adopting the California scientific Board's authorized faculties checklist. it extremely is extremely useful to contemplate contacting between the greater generic Caribbean scientific faculties. they have an inclination to be greater sympathetic to human beings on your situation.
