any time a clothing item cuts horizontally across your body (think of any hems, like the bottom of your shirt, the top of your jeans or skirt, the bottoms of the pants, etc) it will make you look shorter and wider in that area...try wearing horizontal stripes, jeans that hit right at the ankle, flats, anything with a collar, etc

Do you know how many girls wish they could be your height? Do you know how lucky you are to be that tall? Let me tell you, I am 5'2" and it's a b*tch.
Disadvantages of being short:
1. People think you're younger than you are (I'm 17 and I look like I'm about 14-15)
2. Jeans never fit you (they are always too long)
3. Shirts go way past your butt (short torso! hello!)
4. You will never be able to be a model (unless you go to China...I was accepted to be a model for some chinese designer)
Advantages of being tall:
1. You will always look your age, sometimes even older
2. Clothes fit you, plus you can even where skinny jeans, unlike short people
3. You can be a model
4. Girls will want to be with you
God, seriously, I wish I could be as tall as you girl!!! But, no clothes will make you look shorter, I'm sorry. The only thing you can do is wear flip flops and make your hair as flat as it can go.

well im tall just like u and i would just say that u should wear flat shoes u should also wear baggy clothes u could go 2 a store and get cute baggy clothes because yes baggy clothes r really ugly ps how old r u im 12 yrs and 5'5

Why the heck would you want to look shorter? Wedding dresses are all made to fit 5'9", that is considered perfect in the model world. You are right there and you want to change that. I just don't understand.

being tall is so cool why would you want to look short im 12 in the 8th grade and i am "5,9" i love it yes u may feel like an outcast sometimes but you'll always be taller than your friends and my friends always wish they were my hieght (bad thing is that i am going to stop growing soon).... well be happy with your hieght think about it you'll be able to ride alot more roller coasters,you can reach things that other people cant, and you can totally fool people about your age.lol most people think that i am 17

Wear capris - they instantly make you look shorter. Wear tennis shoes or flats - no heels or wedges! If you wear shorts, make them bermudas - if you show a lot of leg it'll make you look taller. Also, never wear long sleeves with shorts - it draws attention to legs and makes you taller. Good luck!

Try wearing flip flops i guess and maybe jeans cause if u wear skirts or shorts they will see how long ur legs are

Why bother - I am 5'8" and plenty of people are taller than I am. That's it hang out with taller people and you will look shorter.
