Legally non.

There is no law.

There is a law about estate agents truthfully describing properties. If the drive can accomodate 2 average size cars then I would say it is valid that it is described as a double drive. If you have two larger than average cars or have difficulty with parking because of your driving capabilities then you are on a road to know where.

Ask yourself this. Are you just a bit miffed or are you just going down th comensation culture route?

What do you want from this?

Your drive is not a parking bay.

While there is no "law" regarding this, based on two average sized cars 14' (4.3m) would allow you to open car doors at the center of the driveway.

a parking bay is defined as 2.4x4.8m but this can be reduced slightly for a driveway.

Hope this helps
