No, most of the time you'll only get what you truely want if you go out there and get it. Sadly, sometimes people try for things a whole lifetime and they always remain slightly out of reach and I think it's the saddest thing.

On the up side, if you are optamistic and keep an open mind then you can make anything that comes to you a good thing and you won't even have the wait!

Man has many cute sayings, but we need to learn to be flexible.
That saying teaches patience, but at the same time. Opportunity
doesn't come flying in the window.
I used to sit at home asking the that Big Guy in the Sky for a good
friend. Then sat around the house using the hybernation method
of dealing with problems, (never left the house).

Good things and bad things come to all people. Waiting doesn't make the percentage of good things go up.

Depends what it is i'm waiting for. Generally though if i want something i do what is needed to achieve my aim. Otherwise I could be waiting along time. And then there are things you could wait a life time for and never get, like that lottery win!!!

They certainly do, its just sometimes you have to wait a bit longer than you expect to wait, but anything worth waiting for has got to be good.

clearly not on earth...perhaps eventually if there is an afterlife.

I am a firm believer in making your own future and do not care much for the idea of fate or destiny. some people think that by doing whats "expected" of them they will eventually be rewarded. However, without your own initiative and determination, I doubt you'll make very much progress.
