Reasons why I hate Ipods????

Creative is much better in fact! They cost too much, the get scratched easliy, battery dies within a year. you have to spend about 100 bucks to order one from apple. Itunes is stupid to use.The freeze up sometimes. The Creative zen microphoto 8g is much better. It has a removeable battery, colorful screen,10 colors, better sound quality.

I'll admit myself, Creative makes better products. It just depends on what you need and what you buy.

I had a Zen Xtra 30 gb, the sound quality was great but the volume was rather soft to be honest.

But there were some faults with it though. The LCD screen cracked and I had only 1/2 a screen to work with for about a year until it finally died on me in the spring. It came up to this screen that had 4 options on it and I didn't know what to do so I contacted Customer Support. They said run this, do that, then open up this, and after a screen on the troubleshooting page said "sorry, we have no solution for your problem", I re-contacted CS and asked if I could send it in for an evaluation. They said if it was within the 90 day warranty they would handle all costs, shipping and product replacement if necessary. But if it was bought over 3 months ago but under a year I'd have to pay $25 for it to get shipped to Singapore, and if it was over a year I'd have to pay for all costs.

I personlally wouldn't buy another, they were massive anyways.

But yeah the only thing I find bad about the iPods is that the batteries have a short life. Creative's batteries were much better than the iPods.

Oh my gosh i totally agree i love the creative ones they are soooooooo awesome! And i hate ipods because you have to be soooo careful when you use one and if you drop it its doneeee!!!! But creative can take a few hits before giving out! lol and i tunes is so stupid my sister has an ipod shuffle, and first of all you cant even see the song your listening to and second every time she downloads new songs it deletes the songs that were already on there. So yea i agree! GOOD QUESTION!(or i guess statement!) lol

yeah finally somebody who agrees with me have you seen the new Olympus mp3/wma players they are much better and cheaper and so are the creatives. gosh why do people buy those stupid things and the ear buds stink so you have to buy new ones and the music is expensive. then the accessories cost like thirty dollars for a cover a one millimeter thick cover!

Because they are just fashion items.

Many other music players are better than Ipod on a price v features (& quality) basis.

For just a music player they are way overpriced, as a fashion item then I guess they are worth what Apple charge for them as they seem to be popular.

Is some grouchy or what? Sorry to say, but Creative MP3 players are not all that good. iPods are from a company people can trust. Creative is totally off brand.

Creative is such a goofy name. Goodness! Couldn't they come up with a better one..

they are pain and the hard drive goes out and there is no easy way (or hard way) to fix it. if you know how let me know please. I'm tired of buying expensive toys for my kids that stop working too soon. Haven't tried the Zen yet.
