why can't i start rpg maker xp?

i already installed it on my computer and when i start it up, it says "failed to obtain a trial serial number from the nTitles server." can anyone help me?

It's not legal, but you have to download a crack to make it work. These are available on many file sharing networks, such as eMule ( http://www.emule-project.net ).

could be your current operating system , video card and not enough memory to run the program. check those first.
