I would take a bed sheet with me.....Pick the bottom bunk that way for some real privacy she can tuck the sheet under the top bunks mattress and cover up. And maybe take a few more if possible for those around you so atleast those girls can be quiet as well around you.

If there will be that many girls in one cabin, It won't get that QUIET...But I'm sure they will have a time when lights need to be out.

And if she can't sleep and hopefully she likes to read take a book with a book light.

The best tip is an open mind.I went to YMCA camp for five years as a camper, and five years as a CIT and counselor. The kids that had the most fun were open to participating in all the activities (swimming, crafts, nature hikes, horseback riding and making new friends.) Bunking with so many kids can be an amazing experience. Privacy is attainable by exploring the boundaries of the camp by oneself; however, group living is part of the fun of camp. I still have friends from camp, even though it's been 30 years since we were last there. It was my "home away from home", and I looked forward to going every year.

clean underware, baseball cap, hair accessories, dairy, and camera for all the new friends your going to meet, AND SMILE
